The James Beard Foundation Blended Burger Project is focused on building better burgers, by blending ground beef with mushrooms to create an incredibly delicious patty that is healthier for you and more sustainable for the planet. This recipe, a winner of the 2016 Blended Burger Project, combines ground beef and crimini mushrooms for wonderfully complex, beefy meal. The burger is topped with a tangy, smooth tahini rémoulade, rich bacon, and a sweet maple-onion confit. It’s perfect balance of salty & sweet makes this burger one to remember.
